Hello and welcome to the latest issue of The Ghoulish Times. My name is Max Booth III and this is my spooky newsletter. Today we’re going to be short and to the point, as my partner Lori Michelle and I are very, very busy setting up our new bookstore in San Antonio. In fact, here is some life advice I posted on social media the other day, to give you an idea of what my current schedule feels like:

my best life advice is to never try opening a bookstore while preparing for an annual book festival while running a small press while hosting a podcast while editing a magazine while writing a book with a deadline

Two days later, I still stand by this advice. Or has only one day passed? I do not know. Time means nothing anymore. Okay. That’s enough banter. You hear me? You’ve had enough. I’m cutting you off.
